Dumpling is no longer with us. She'll be laid to rest in our memorial garden, where I put all the pets who've lived here go when they die. It's where I grow our wildflowers. We're officially down to five furry friends now, and I won't have a friend peek up and say "hello! Got any food?" whenever I go to get a book off the shelf. I'm really going to miss my little friend, out of all the rats I've had, she was the most fearless, the most adventurous, and the cleverest.
The house isn't going to be the same without her.
I'm sorry to hear that Dumpling is gone. We are blessed by our animal friends everyday - I am sad that you have lost one of yours.
ReplyDeleteSorry about Dumpling! I'm a big animal lover, and we also have a memorial cemetary out back. Animals all have their own unique personalities, just like humans... It's always sad to lose a pet.
ReplyDeletenever easy losing a pet is right..I cried like a baby when Nova ( our old dog ) died...not easy.
