I got this email today:
Ms. Dwyer,
I have tentatively scheduled this for the Council’s November 14 Committee of the Whole agenda. If the volume of other items make for a full agenda, I may push this to the November 28 agenda to ensure adequate time and attention is given to your proposal. At this meeting, it is likely the Council will direct the Planning and Zoning Commission to take up your proposal, hold hearings, and make a recommendation on whether our codes should be amended to accommodate hens inside the city limits.
It's officially scheduled! Holy shit, it's actually going to the city!
Congrats!! I hope they decide to change your codes. I love my hens - they are so fun! Altho sadly I'm down to one now (started with four), so I need to get 2 or 3 more.
